I thought I had my budget sorted for a 3BHK near Sarjapur Road for my family, but man, the hidden charges are real. I was looking at Prestige and Sobha projects, comparing their quoted prices for a 3BHK around ₹1.5 Cr. Then I found out about PLC, EDC, and maintenance deposits that add lakhs. It’s not just the base price, folks. Also, the model flat quality for one builder was amazing, but I heard from existing residents about seepage issues after possession. Always check the fine print and talk to current owners before signing. Hope this helps someone avoid nasty surprises.

Yaar, this is so true! Just yesterday I was looking at a 2BHK near Sarjapur Road, and the 'all-inclusive' price suddenly jumped by almost 15 lakhs with all these charges. Builder brochures are so misleading, it's like a different language altogether. Good on you for pointing this out!
