My VKG Group visit: what I learned about discounts

Finally taking the plunge, but this Noida market is confusing. Visited VKG Group in Sector 36 last week. They're offering 'spot discounts' but not sure if it's real value or just a gimmick. Should I push for more, or is their no-price-drop policy genuine? Also, is going direct better than a broker for these deals?
