Neelkanth Apartment maintenance — real figures and verification tips?
Visited Property Neelkanth Apartment last week. Kids have moved out, so we're selling our big house and looking for something manageable, low maintenance. The 2BHK layouts there seem good for carpet area, not too much wasted space, which is important for us now. But I'm a bit concerned about the maintenance charges they quoted. They said around ₹2.5-3 per sqft, but I've heard from friends in other societies that the actual bill can be much higher with hidden costs. Does anyone living in Neelkanth Apartment have actual figures for monthly maintenance, including all the extra charges like common area electricity, sinking fund, etc.? Should I ask for past RWA meeting minutes or audited statements to verify? Any tips on what to look out for regarding maintenance before buying? Hope this helps someone else too.

Yaar, same pinch! Hum bhi Neelkanth Apartments dekhne gaye the. Maintenance sunke toh mera bhi dimaag ghoom gaya. ₹3 per sqft is too much for a society with just 25 units, lagta hai kuch toh gadbad hai. Builders hamesha initial quotes kam dete hain, baad mein RWA pata nahi kya-kya add kar deta hai. Pata chala baad mein generator backup ka alag se charge kar diya, ya lift maintenance ka.
