Resale of our large home is almost done, and now we're seriously looking for a compact 2BHK. We checked out Arvind Properties in Chikkanayakanahalli; they quoted around ₹1.1 Cr. My kids have moved out, so we want something manageable. I'm wondering, does price negotiation actually work in Bengaluru with builders? How much can one realistically knock off? And are there hidden charges beyond stamp duty and registration that pop up at possession? Don't want any nasty surprises after selling our main asset. What's been your experience?

Bhai, ₹1.1 Cr for a 2BHK in Chikkanayakanahalli? Sounds a bit high. Negotiation? Forget about it, most builders in Bangalore are like 'take it or leave it'. Especially for projects that are almost ready. Humne bhi try kiya tha ek project mein, they barely budged ₹50k. My experience says don't expect much. But I hope you have better luck!
