Negotiating with Prestige: What's the real discount potential?
Since last year, we've been seriously looking for a bigger flat. My wife's main priority is a good school nearby for the kids, so Ngarlur / Vidhana Layout vicinity is high on our list for a 3BHK. We saw a Prestige Group project there, and the quoted price for a 3BHK was around ₹1.8 Cr. Honestly, I'm not sure if price negotiation actually works in Bangalore. Heard Prestige doesn't budge much. How much can you realistically knock off the quoted price? Also, what about all-in costs? They quote one figure, but then PLC, parking, stamp duty, registration, interiors... it all adds up. What's the realistic total percentage over the base price we should factor in? And about pre-launch offers, are they genuinely cheaper or just a marketing gimmick? Not sure if we should jump on an early offer or wait for more clarity on final pricing. Any experiences with this?
