Spent the whole Sunday checking out options in New Chandigarh. I'm seriously weighing a plot vs a 3BHK flat investment there. From my experience, plots traditionally offer better long-term appreciation, especially with the New Chandigarh Master Plan and PR7 Airport Road development. I'm looking at Omaxe plots, maybe around ₹1.5Cr. But then a Godrej 3BHK in Aerocity for ₹1.2Cr offers immediate rental yield, around 3-4% easily. Should I go for the slower, potentially higher ROI with a plot, or the quicker cash flow from a flat? What do you guys think for a 5-7 year hold?

Yaar, New Chandigarh plots ka hype toh hai. Omaxe is a big name. But 1.5 Cr for a plot, that's a huge commitment. Liquidity ka kya scene hai agar emergency mein bechna pade? Plots bechna flats se zyada mushkil nahi hota kya?
