New Chandigarh upgrade: All-in cost confusion
Mohali ka resale market actually feels more stable than new projects right now. I'm currently in a 2BHK in Sector 44, thinking of upgrading to a 3BHK or a small villa in New Chandigarh. Already have a home loan, so need to be smart about this. I've been checking Raheja Universal projects, but pricing seems intense. Is the price jump for a 3BHK really justified with all the extra costs? Honestly, are there any real price-correction zones left in Chandigarh or Mohali? Everywhere seems so expensive. Also, what's the deal with stamp-duty and registration? People say it's a huge chunk. Kitna extra lag jaata hai on top of the property price? Any tips to reduce all-in-cost surprises? And for negotiation, builder direct or a good broker for a better deal? Experiences, please!

Yaar, totally relate to this. New Chandigarh mein prices toh aasmaan chhoo rahe hain. Raheja ke projects dekh ke toh mera budget hi hil gaya. Kya sach mein 3BHK ke liye itna extra paisa dena worth it hai? Samajh hi nahi aa raha. Mohali ka resale market is actually looking much saner.
