New Chandigarh — been looking at plots and flats here for a few months. Mera budget around ₹80L-₹1Cr hai for a 2BHK. My parents keep saying market already peak kar gaya hai, ab invest karna risky hai. But PR7 road aur New Chandigarh Master Plan kaafi promising lag rahe hain. Is area mein abhi bhi entry point sahi hai for appreciation? Ya phir wait karna better hoga? I'm 29, pehli property hai, honestly not sure about the timing. What do you guys think?

I disagree with the 'wait' philosophy. I bought a plot in New Chandigarh near the Medicity area two years ago for 60L. Abhi uski value 90L+ ho gayi hai. The growth is real, especially with the PGI extension and other commercial projects coming up. For a first-time buyer, it might feel like a lot, but if you hold for 5-7 years, you'll definitely see good returns. Just do your due diligence on the builder.

Exactly! Main bhi yahi soch raha tha. Mera ek friend Manimajra mein dekh raha tha, usko bhi same budget mein kuch khaas nahi mila. Developers ne kaafi hype create ki hai New Chandigarh ke aas paas. Lagta hai abhi wait karna better hai.
