Okay I'll be honest — I completely underestimated how confusing this process is. Rent dete dete I'm just fed up, so finally taking the plunge for a flat in New Delhi. EMI vs rent math ab sahi lag raha hai. I visited Property Gallery recently, and under-construction projects mein quality check karna kitna tough hai yaar. Walls ki finishing, plumbing lines, electrical wiring — site par kya dekhe jab construction chal raha ho? Koi tips hain to please batao.

Property Gallery ka toh status 'Completed' hai as per RERA portal. Maybe you're looking at a different phase or a resale unit? If it's a resale, quality checks are different. But if you're still considering other under-construction projects, always check the builder's reputation and past projects. Bahut saare builders possession dates extend karte rehte hain.
U10, wahi toh main keh raha hoon! Mera ek colleague Anand Vihar mein ek project mein phasa hua hai. 2 saal se possession date extend ho rahi hai. Ab toh lagta hai ki builder ka financial health bhi kharab hai. Always do
Builder ka track record kaisa hai? Sunke toh darr lag raha hai.
Original poster, under-construction sites pe quality check karna a big headache hai, I know! My advice: always take a civil engineer friend ya professional inspector along. Walls ki finishing, plumbing, electricals are just the start. Check for proper curing of concrete, straightness of walls (use a spirit level), and feel the texture of plaster. Drainage slopes bhi dekho bathroom aur balconies mein. Aur hidden costs ke liye ready rehna, builder kuch na kuch charge kar hi leta hai later. It's a minefield out there, especially if you're not experienced.
Par kya specific documents check karne chahiye under-construction ke time? RERA number ke alawa?
U6 is right about hidden costs! Mera ek friend Alaknanda mein ek under-construction project mein phas gaya tha. Builder ne last moment pe 'extra amenities charges' ke naam pe 5 lakh maang liye. Bina uske possession nahi de rahe the. Be very careful with the clauses in your agreement.
Yaar, I feel you! Rent se toh sabhi pareshaan hain. But Property Gallery ki baat kar rahe ho toh, are you sure it's under construction? Last I checked, that project was already completed. And the price... bro, ₹7.8 Cr? That's seriously high for a first-time buyer, unless you're looking at something super luxury. Budget-conscious logon ke liye toh yeh out of reach hai.
₹7.8 Cr? Yaar, itna high price for a first-time buyer? Is this even in Delhi? Mera toh poora budget hi hil gaya sunke!
Absolutely agree with U2! Property Gallery toh ready-to-move hai, not under-construction. Shayaad original poster confused hai. Builder ne toh date extend nahi ki thi but quality checks are still important for resale.
