New Delhi projects: Are amenities truly usable for families?
Visited DDA Tara Apartments last weekend with my wife, looking for a 3BHK for our growing family. Honestly, brochures mein jo dikhate hain amenities, woh real life mein kitni kaam ki hoti hain? Everyone glorifies clubhouses and kids' play areas but are they actually usable daily, ya bas showpiece ban jaate hain? My wife's priority is a safe, usable space for the children, not just a tick-box item. I'm seeing so many projects where the swimming pool is always closed or the gym equipment is broken after a year. Maintenance charges toh poore lete hain, but service quality kya hoti hai? It feels like builders just add these to increase PLC, not for actual resident use. Change my mind, because I'm genuinely skeptical about these "world-class" amenities.

Totally agree with your point about DDA Tara, bhai. We visited a couple of projects near Alaknanda last month and the clubhouses looked amazing in brochures, but on ground? It's like a ghost town. Kids' play area was poorly maintained. Maintenance charges toh poore lete hain, but service quality zero.
Haan bhai, same experience. Builders just want to show off for PLC. My friend lives in a society in Anand Vihar, same story.
