New Gurugram flat: expectations vs reality?
Possession was in March, and I'm honestly trying to figure out if my expectations were too high. At Signature Global The Millennia, the brochure promised a lot, but the reality for things like the clubhouse is a bit different. It's there, sure, but doesn't feel like a proper facility yet, more like a half-used space. Things nobody told me about during booking... the gym equipment is okay, but not what I pictured from the renders. Also, the maintenance charges kicked in, and I'm not sure if the actual service quality matches up. Are other residents seeing the same? I'm wondering if the green areas will ever be as lush as shown. Does anyone else who's moved into a new Gurugram project recently feel this way about their amenities? What's your first-hand experience been?

U1, I completely understand your frustration. We booked in a project near Badshahpur and the same story. The children's play area is just a patch of grass with one broken swing. They charge so much for amenities but deliver so little. What's the point of paying high maintenance if the facilities are not up to par? This is why first-time buyers always feel cheated.
Signature Global ka track record waise bhi mixed reviews wala hai. Mere cousin ne bhi ek project mein book kiya tha, delivery bahut late hui aur quality bhi average nikli. Ye clubhouse, gym wali complaints toh standard hain. Brochure mein jo dikhate hain, woh toh sirf sapne hote hain. Aapne booking se pehle site visit ki thi ya sirf renders dekhke decide kiya?
I was also looking at Signature Global The Millennia, the price range of ₹63 L – ₹78 L seemed decent for New Gurugram. But U1 ka post sunke thoda darr lag raha hai. Kya ye problem sirf is project mein hai ya New Gurugram ke har project mein same kahani hai? Koi aur buyer hai yahan se jo apna experience share kar sake?
U5, I think what U1 is experiencing is pretty common. The market is tough right now, builders are cutting corners. Always check the RERA documents and try to talk to existing residents if possible. RERA number GGM to hai, but compliance can be tricky.
U5, not just New Gurugram, even projects near Basai mein bhi yahi haal hai. Builders show you grand plans, but execution is always a compromise. Green areas toh end tak banate hain, woh bhi agar bache hue funds ho toh. Budget-conscious buyers like us get stuck.
U5, dekho, yeh sirf Signature Global ki baat nahin hai. Most projects mein yahi hota hai. Brochures are for marketing, reality is always different. Especially with New Gurugram projects, they launch with big promises because the area is still developing. You need to visit the site multiple times.
Bhai, totally relatable! Humne bhi Ekta Heights mein book kiya tha Baharampur Naya ke paas. Brochure mein Olympic-size pool dikhaya tha, abhi tak toh bas ek bada sa pit hai wahan. U2, Haan yaar, builders ka yehi drama hai. Mera ek friend Airport Road pe ek project mein hai, usko bhi promised amenities nahin mili hain. Pool ka haal toh sabse kharab hota hai usually. Yeh maintenance charges wali baat toh sach mein chubh rahi hai, service ke naam pe kuch bhi nahin milta.
