posted on 15 AprNew Noida: Bumper Compensation Announced for Farmers
Heard about "New Noida" and wondering what it means for property prices? Well, *seedhi baat* – the Noida Authority just greenlit some serious compensation for farmers whose land will be used to develop the Dadri-Noida-Ghaziabad Investment Region (DNGIR). Basically, they're paying farmers a rate similar to the Yamuna Authority. This could mean a few things for us. On one hand, fair compensation is good for everyone. On the other, higher land costs *could* translate to slightly higher property prices down the line in New Noida. It's still early days, but this massive investment region is definitely something to keep an eye on. So, is this good news or bad news for buyers looking at Noida? What do you guys think?
