posted on 16 AprNew Noida: Bumper Compensation for Farmers, Development Driven by Master Plan
Heard some folks worrying about New Noida's future, especially with land acquisition challenges. Well, here's some potentially good news! The Noida Authority just greenlit compensation rates for farmers in 80 villages earmarked for the Dadri-Noida-Ghaziabad Investment Region (DNGIR). They're matching Yamuna Authority's rates at ₹4,300 per square meter, and have set aside a good chunk of change (₹800 crore!) to get things moving. This could mean smoother development and less uncertainty around project timelines. It suggests New Noida is really going to happen according to the master plan. So, is this a positive step for those of us looking to invest in Noida's future? What do you think?
