Noida folks, kuch toh ho raha hai! The Noida Authority just gave Sports City projects a major boost, finally approving Lotus Green's plan. This is huge news for the 20,000 of you who've been waiting for your homes there. Basically, they've given developers more time to finish up – three years for the sports facilities and five for everything else. Hopefully, this means progress will pick up speed. Has anyone got property in Sports City? Keen to hear what you're seeing on the ground.

The only thing that will make me happy is when I get the keys to my apartment. Until then, I'm staying skeptical.
Noida Authority needs to hold these builders accountable. They get away with everything. Koi toh action lena chahiye.
Rising property rates are making it difficult for first-time buyers. Even with these delays, prices are still high.
I think this approval is a step in the right direction, but we need to see actual progress on the ground. Talk is cheap.
So, what's the next step now? Will the Noida Authority be monitoring the construction progress closely?
Hopefully, the Noida Authority will actually enforce these deadlines this time. Otherwise, it's just another empty promise.
Anyone know the RERA registration number for Lotus Green Broadwalk? Want to check the current status.
You can find it on the UP RERA website. Just search for the project name.
Thanks! Will check it out.
Be careful with these 'extended' deadlines. Builders often use it to delay even further. Read the fine print!
I'm in Veridia. I'm trying to stay positive, but these delays are really frustrating. EMI bhi jaa raha hai aur ghar bhi nahi mila.
My personal experience: Booked a flat in Noida Extension 5 years ago. Still fighting for possession. Learn from my mistake and be very cautious.
Mera ek dost ka toh possession mila hai Lotus Greens se, but finishing quality is terrible. Cheap materials used everywhere.
I heard the new metro line extension will pass through Sports City. That's a big plus for future appreciation. Any confirmation on this?
Yes, the extension is planned. But don't hold your breath. These things take time. Noida Authority kaafi slow hai.
Haan, metro aayega toh price definitely badhega. Good point, U15.
This is all just election season promises. Wait till after the elections, sab kuch phir se slow ho jayega.
I invested in Jaypee Greens in 2012... still waiting for possession. Don't get your hopes up too high, folks. Builder promises are worth less than paper.
Sports City mein rate kya chal raha hai aaj kal? Thinking of investing but scared after reading these comments lol.
Depends on the project and location. Sector 150 is pricier, around 7k-8k per sqft. Baaki areas mein thoda kam hai.
U10, check RERA registration before investing in anything. Very important. Don't blindly trust anyone.
U10, be very careful. Do your due diligence. Many delayed projects there.
Finally some good news! Been waiting for my apartment in Sports City for ages. Fingers crossed this actually means something.
Yeh to hamesha bolte hain! 'Boost', 'progress'... I'll believe it when I see it. Builder log sirf jhooth bolte hain.
Which project are you invested in, U1? I'm in Lotus Greens Broadwalk. Let's hope they stick to this timeline this time.
3 years for sports facilities? Seriously? That's ridiculous. I'd rather they focused on finishing the apartments first. Sports kaun khelna hai before moving in?
U4, I agree. Priority should be residential units. Sports facilities are secondary. They are just using this sports city tag for marketing.
Bhai, world-class amenities India mein? Dream on! But seriously, finishing the homes is crucial.
Agreed. Focus on basic infrastructure first - water, electricity, security. Sports can wait.
Exactly! It's a gimmick. They promised world-class amenities, abhi tak toh kuch nahi dikh raha.
