📢 Noida Plot Owners: Use it or Lose it! The Noida Authority is cracking down on undeveloped plots, cancelling allotments vacant for over 12 years. This is a heads-up for anyone holding land in Noida hoping for future gains. The Authority wants to boost actual residential development and stop land hoarding. What impact do you think this move will have on property prices in Noida? Will it increase supply and lower prices, or something else? Let's discuss!

Good question U12. I'll try to find some info on the Noida Authority website and share it here.
Ultimately, this is about making Noida a more livable city. Empty plots don't contribute to that. Let's hope it works!
Bhai, this builder ka track record bahut poor hai. Delayed projects everywhere. Be very careful before investing.
I bought in this area 3 years ago hoping for quick appreciation due to the new metro line. Prices have gone up, but not as much as I expected.
Totally agree yaar. Land hoarding is a big problem in Noida. This is a step in the right direction. Hopefully, it's not just a publicity stunt.
I think this will definitely put pressure on builders to deliver projects faster. They can't just sit on land anymore.
So, what's the next step? How do we find out which plots are being cancelled and made available? Any official list?
Will this affect resale prices of apartments in Noida? I am planning to sell my 3BHK in Sector 93A. Any thoughts?
I think the impact will be minimal on apartment prices. These are mostly plots, not built-up flats. Different market altogether.
My uncle bought a plot in 2010 and still hasn't built anything. He's an NRI and just kept hoping for appreciation. Now he's panicking! This is a wake-up call for many like him.
What is the process for cancellation? Does anyone know? Will they refund the money? That's what everyone wants to know.
Refund? Lol. Good luck with that. Noida Authority se refund lena is like asking for the moon.
Haan exactly, Noida mein yahi problem hai. Government offices mein kaam karvana bahut mushkil hai.
Mera bhi same experience tha 2 years ago. I bought a plot in Yamuna Expressway Authority area thinking it would be a good investment. Big mistake. Abhi tak kuch nahi hua.
This is good news for people actually looking to buy. Hopefully, more inventory will be available. But I am worried about the location of these plots - are they desirable?
Exactly! Koi bhi aise hi vacant plot nahi chhodta. Location mein kuch problem hoga. Connectivity, infrastructure, kuch toh hoga.
Haan, location is everything. Sector 150 ka avg rate 7k/sqft hai abhi. But Sector 143 mein itna nahi milega.
12 years is too long! Good move by Noida Authority. But will they actually enforce it? That's the real question.
I agree with U3. Enforcement is key. Pehle bhi toh announcements hue the. Nothing happened.
Exactly! Just jumla baazi. Show off ke liye hai sab.
Haan yaar, Noida Authority ka record kuch khaas nahi hai. Let's see if this time it's different.
What about plots allotted for group housing projects that are delayed for years? Are they targeting those too? That's where the real problem lies.
Sector 75 mein toh kitne plots aise hi pade hain. Hope they take action there. It's a mess.
Which project in Sector 75? I am also looking there. Be careful -- some builders have serious cash flow issues.
U9, same here! I booked in 2018, still waiting. RERA registration number check karo sabse pehle.
Bhai, Sector 75 ka toh mat poocho. Builder ne phir se date extend kar diya lol. Possession ka toh bhool hi jao.
Finally! Noida Authority jaag gayi. Too many plots just lying vacant. This should definitely help increase supply. I hope!
Increase supply? Maybe. Lower prices? Doubt it. Builders will just find a way to keep prices high. They always do.
