Noida mein construction activity toh slow chal rahi hai kaafi time se. But yeh news kaafi important hai for anyone looking to buy property here. Basically, Noida Authority vacant plots cancel kar rahi hai jinko allot hue 12 saal se zyada ho gaya, and abhi tak koi development nahi hui. Think of it as clearing out the deadwood, so that real demand can be met. Isse hoga yeh ki aur plots available honge, and hopefully prices mein bhi kuch farak padega. This could be good news for buyers, kyunki market mein aur supply aayegi. Anyone facing this issue, or knows someone who is? Koi aur insider info hai toh share karo!

I think the Authority will re-allot them. Auction mein toh aur rates badh jayenge.
Hopefully, the Authority learns from its past mistakes and puts stricter checks in place to prevent this from happening again.
Yeh sab toh theek hai, but what's the guarantee that the new allottees will actually build on the plots and not just hold them for speculation?
I heard the new metro line extension is also impacting property prices in some sectors. True?
@U3 Absolutely! Metro connectivity is a huge factor. Sectors near the metro line are seeing a price surge.
Overall, I think this is a positive step. It will help clean up the market and make it more transparent.
Let's see if this actually translates into lower prices. I'll believe it when I see it.
So, what's the next step? Will the Authority auction these cancelled plots? Any idea when?
Sector 44 is already quite developed. I think sectors on the outskirts are more likely to be affected.
Yeh sab toh theek hai, but what about the people who genuinely want to build but are facing delays due to approvals? Unka kya?
@U4 Valid point. Not everyone is deliberately delaying. Approvals are a nightmare in Noida.
@U4 True. Noida Authority ko thoda sympathetic hona chahiye. Genuine cases ko consider karna chahiye.
Rising property rates are making it impossible for middle-class families to buy a home. Is there any hope?
@U8 Hope toh hai, but you need to be smart about it. Look for smaller apartments or consider areas slightly further from the city center.
Mera ek friend ka plot cancel hua tha 2 saal pehle. He was so frustrated! He had paid a huge amount as booking amount.
What about the builders who take money and then delay projects for years? Unka kya hoga? They should also be penalized heavily!
Exactly! Builders toh loot rahe hain. Koi accountability nahi hai.
RERA mein complaint karo. It takes time, but it's worth it.
Anyone knows which sectors are most affected by this cancellation drive? Sector 44 mein koi impact hai kya?
I bought a plot in Sector 151 three years ago. Still waiting for basic infrastructure. Bijli, paani, sadak - kuch nahi hai. Kya karu mein?
@U10 Sector 151 is still developing. Patience rakho. But keep following up with the Authority. RTI file karo, it helps.
This is good news for first-time buyers like me! Hopefully, I can finally afford something in Noida.
@U12 Agree with U13. Loan rates are also rising. Calculate your EMI carefully.
@U12 All the best! Do your research properly before investing. Check RERA registration and builder's track record.
@U12 Don't get your hopes up too high. Even with increased supply, prices are still high. Sector 150 mein bhi rates bahut badh gaye hain.
Finally some action! Noida Authority is serious it seems. Bahut time se vacant plots pade hue the, hoarding bani hui thi bas.
True that! Isse at least genuine buyers ko chance milega. But will it *really* affect prices? I'm skeptical.
I hope so! Sector 75 mein ek plot dekha tha, 10 saal se aise hi pada hai. Builder ka koi plan nahi hai. @U2 Prices toh definitely affect hone chahiye, supply badhegi toh demand/supply ka rule toh lagega hi.
@U3 Bhai, demand toh Noida mein hamesha high rehti hai. Supply badhne se kitna farak padega, woh dekhna hoga. Real estate is complicated yaar.
@U3 Sector 75 is prime location! Which builder? Name batao, I'm also looking there.
@U3 Agree! Sector 75 is gold, but so many delayed projects. I'm tired of waiting for possession.
Yeh toh hona hi tha. 12 saal se kuch nahi kiya toh cancel hi karenge. But Noida Authority also needs to be faster, bahut slow hai inka process.
@U7 Speed se kya hoga jab corruption hi itna hai? Pehle woh toh control karein.
Haan exactly, Noida mein yahi problem hai. Bureaucracy bahut zyada hai.
