Heads up, Noida folks! Been seeing some chatter about delayed projects and builders making excuses. Well, Noida Authority is apparently done playing nice. They're cracking down HARD on builders who haven't paid up despite getting breaks under that Stalled Legacy Housing Projects Policy. This means interest waivers and other concessions are getting yanked, and audits are coming. It sounds like they're finally holding feet to the fire. Could this mean faster resolution of stuck projects, or will it just create more legal mess? Is this good news for Noida homebuyers and investors, or are we bracing for more turbulence? What do you all think?

I think this is a good first step, but it needs to be followed up with strict enforcement. Otherwise, it's just another empty threat.
Overall, I think it's a positive move. It might create some short-term turbulence, but in the long run, it will benefit Noida homebuyers.
So, what's the next step? Will there be a public list of defaulting builders? I want to know if my builder is on that list.
Check amenities completion before booking, I made that mistake. They promised a swimming pool and gym, but still not ready after 4 years!
I think Noida Authority should focus on completing the existing infrastructure projects first. Roads, drainage, electricity - all are in shambles.
Be careful - this builder has 3 delayed projects in Greater Noida West. Do your research before investing.
Builder ne phir se date extend kar diya lol. I'm starting to think I'll never get my flat.
What happens to the interest waivers that were already granted? Will they be revoked retroactively?
Bhai, this builder ka track record bahut poor hai. Check their RERA registration number and see how many projects are delayed.
Possession mila kya kisi ko? My friend is waiting for his flat in Noida Extension for 5 years now.
5 years? That's insane! Mera bhi same experience tha 2 years ago. I had to fight tooth and nail to get my possession.
Sector 150 ka avg rate 7k/sqft hai abhi. Is this the right time to invest, or should I wait for prices to correct?
Totally agree yaar, U19. The market is fluctuating so much. I'm also confused about whether to invest or not.
I bought in Sector 150 three years ago, and the builder keeps giving excuses. They say construction is slow due to labor shortage. Is that even true?
Labor shortage is a convenient excuse, U10. Check the builder's other projects. Are they facing the same issues everywhere?
Sector 150 mein toh abhi bhi kaafi construction chal raha hai. Maybe the new metro line extension is contributing to the delays?
I think this is a positive step. Builders need to understand that they can't take homebuyers for granted. Abhi toh bahut late ho gaya.
What about those of us who've already paid a significant amount? Will this action impact our investments negatively? I'm worried.
Anyone have more information on which builders are specifically targeted? I have invested in a project by XYZ Builders.
This could be a double-edged sword. While holding builders accountable is crucial, yanking concessions might lead to further delays and legal battles. We, the homebuyers, will suffer the most.
Which builder are we talking about specifically? My project in Sector 78 is already delayed by 3 years!
U5, RERA mein complaint file karo. That's the only way to get them moving.
Sector 78? Be careful, many projects there are stuck due to land acquisition issues. Check the builder's financial health carefully.
Good news, hopefully. But I'll believe it when I see it. Mera flat ka possession kab milega, wohi sabse bada sawaal hai.
Finally! Good riddance to these defaulting builders. Bahut hua janta ko lootna. I hope they actually follow through this time.
I hope so too U1. Lekin, Noida Authority ka track record bhi kuch khaas nahi hai. Pehle bhi toh bahut promises kiye the.
