**Vacant plots in Noida face cancellation after 12 years!** Noida Authority is cracking down on unused residential plots, which means some owners are about to lose their allotments. A six-month grace period exists for plots with ongoing construction. Will this move free up land and make more housing available, or will it create more uncertainty in the market? Is this good news for buyers?

This might be a good time to invest in Noida. Prices are already high due to the new metro line extension, but this could create some buying opportunities.
Bhai, this is just another way for the Noida Authority to make money. They'll cancel the allotments and then re-auction the plots at a higher price.
So, what happens to the money paid for the plot initially? Do they refund it?
Let's see if they actually follow through with this. Noida Authority has a history of making announcements and then doing nothing.
So what's the bottom line? Is this good or bad for the average home buyer? I'm still confused.
Anyone has any idea about the current circle rates in Sector 93A?
Last I checked, it was around 60k per sq meter. But better to verify with the Authority directly.
I think this is a knee-jerk reaction. They should focus on holding builders accountable for delayed projects instead of harassing plot owners.
What about the plots allotted under farmers' quota? Will they also be affected?
Is there any official notification or circular regarding this? Koi link hai kya?
I had a similar experience 2 years ago. Authority was threatening cancellation because of some minor deviation from the approved plan. Paid some 'chai-pani' and the problem went away. Corruption is rampant.
Chai-pani is the solution to every problem in Noida, haha! But seriously, it's frustrating.
Sector 137 mein kya scene hai? Anyone knows if this affects that area?
Yeh toh hona hi tha. So many plots lying vacant for years, becoming dumping grounds. It's a good step towards planned development.
RERA registration number check karo before investing anywhere. Don't make the same mistake I did.
Six months is not enough time for ongoing construction. Bureaucracy mein kitna time waste hota hai sabko pata hai.
I bought a plot in Sector 44 back in 2010. Luckily, I built on it, but this is scary. What if there were delays due to builder issues?
That's my fear exactly! Mera toh builder hi bhag gaya! RERA mein case file kiya hai, but who knows when I'll get my money back.
Is this applicable to commercial plots also, or only residential?
Good news for buyers? Maybe. If it actually frees up land and new projects come up, we might see some price correction. But Noida Authority's track record is... questionable.
Finally! Some action against these plot hoarders. Bahut time se vacant pade hain, creating artificial scarcity. Good move, Noida Authority!
12 years is a long time, isn't it? I mean, life happens. Maybe someone invested and then lost their job or had a family emergency. Thoda lenient hona chahiye.
Lenient? Bhai, 12 saal mein toh pura ghar ban jaata hai! They're probably just land banking, waiting for prices to go up.
Will this affect apartment prices too? I'm looking to buy a 3BHK in Sector 150.
Indirectly, yes. If more land becomes available, developers might build more, increasing supply and potentially moderating prices. But don't expect a huge drop.
