Okay I'll say what no one says: Noida Extension is OVERhyped. Just moved in last month near Gaur City. Connectivity is still a mess, and honestly, the promised metro is nowhere in sight. Everyone glorifies the 'affordable' prices, but nobody talks about the hidden costs and constant construction noise. EMI is killing me. Maybe I should've rented instead. Should I have gone for a ready-to-move flat in a better sector? Change my mind. Tell me I'm wrong.

I think the metro extension to Greater Noida West is crucial. Without it, Noida Extension will remain a connectivity black hole.
So, U1, what's your plan now? Are you planning to sell or stick it out?
Thanks everyone for the perspectives. Feeling a little less panicked now. Will definitely look into refinancing.
Did you do your due diligence before buying, U1? RERA approvals, builder's past projects, etc.?
Totally agree yaar, connectivity is a HUGE problem. I travel to Delhi every day for work, and it's a nightmare.
Rising rates are making it harder for first-time buyers. Noida Extension was supposed to be the solution, but...
Sector 150 is a good option if you're looking for something more developed but still relatively affordable. Avg rate is around 7k/sqft.
Have you tried complaining to the builder about the construction noise, U15? They are supposed to follow noise pollution rules.
My friend sold his flat in Noida Extension last year and moved to Sector 75. He says it was the best decision he ever made. Peace of mind is priceless.
Be careful with resale in Noida Extension. Check for hidden charges and pending dues.
I think Noida Extension is still a good investment for the future. The population is growing, and the infrastructure will eventually catch up.
I bought in Noida Extension 3 years ago. Haan, there were initial problems. But now, the rent I'm getting covers almost 70% of my EMI. Patience, my friend.
I think it depends on your expectations. If you wanted a ready-to-move, premium experience, Noida Extension was never the right choice. It's for people who want affordable housing and are willing to wait for infrastructure to develop.
EMI killing you? Renting in Noida is also expensive, yaar. Have you considered refinancing your loan?
Don't lose hope! I bought a plot in Noida Extension. Abhi rates double ho gaye hain! Long-term thinking is important.
The construction noise is the worst! I work from home, and it's impossible to concentrate sometimes.
Bhai, I feel you. Same situation a few years back. But trust me, it gets better. The metro will come eventually (hopefully!). Focus on paying off the loan. Resale value will increase in the long run.
'Eventually' is the key word here. They've been saying 'eventually' for the last 5 years!
Resale is already picking up. Sector 16B ke rates check karo, especially after the elevated road opened.
You're not wrong, U1. It's a gamble. Affordable now, but future is uncertain. Sector 7x is better in terms of social infrastructure already.
Which project are you in, U1? Builder ka naam batao. Some are worse than others.
Haan, builder is key! My friend is stuck with Supertech. No hope there.
Exactly! My cousin is in a Gaursons project. Possession mila kya, U1?
