Guaranteed parking in Noida Extension seems like a luxury these days. We're downsizing from our big house now that the kids are out, want something manageable. Visited Parsvnath Platinum and they mentioned lottery parking. It's making me rethink things; after years of dedicated parking, I just want something reliable. Is this really the norm now for societies? How does visitor parking work out? Don't want future visits to be a hassle. Any advice on securing decent parking for a 2BHK?

Yaar, parking ka issue toh har jagah hai. But for seniors, reliability is key. My in-laws had a terrible time in their previous society with visitor parking; guests used to park outside on the main road. For a 2BHK in Parsvnath Platinum, which is already on the higher side in Noida Extension (₹94 L – ₹1.4 Cr), I'd expect a guaranteed spot. It feels like builders are just trying to squeeze every last penny without providing basic facilities. What if you need an extra spot for a second car later?
The current market conditions in Noida Extension are such that demand is high, so builders and RWAs often get away with these 'lottery' systems. People are desperate for good locations. But for such a significant investment
Exactly! Visitor parking ka kya plan hai? Woh bhi lottery mein aayega kya? That's a huge factor for family visits.
Lottery parking is a total scam! Humne bhi Greater Noida West mein ek property dekhi thi, bola tha parking milegi, but baad mein pata chala ki lottery hai. Bilkul bharosa nahi hai.
Parsvnath Platinum ka possession date toh 2009-10-01 hai. That's more than a decade old. For such an established project, lottery parking sounds odd. Usually, older societies had dedicated spots. Maybe the RWA changed rules? Or is it that they sold more parking spaces than available? This is a red flag, especially for a price range of ₹94 L – ₹1.4 Cr.
Woah, Parsvnath Platinum is quite an old project, possession was back in 2009. For retirees downsizing, I was thinking older projects might be more settled, but parking sounds like a nightmare. How is the overall maintenance there now? Aur kya amenities abhi bhi working condition mein hain? Because if you're paying close to a crore, you want everything to be top-notch, right?
Old projects do have their pros – usually bigger room sizes and established communities. But yes, maintenance charges can be high and sometimes amenities are outdated. Parsvnath Platinum has 425 units, so managing that many residents' needs, especially parking, would be tough for any RWA. You need to verify the RWA's current efficiency.
Maintenance toh puraana projects ka hamesha ek headache rehta hai. Mera ek friend hai Ajayabpur mein, usne bhi ek 2010 ka project liya tha. Builder ne initial saal toh theek kiya, but ab RWA aur builder ke beech dispute hai. Lift aksar kharab rehti hai, aur security bhi weak ho gayi hai. Parsvnath ka bhi track record utna accha nahi raha hai past mein.
Good point about maintenance! Did you check their RERA number UPRERAPRJ4232? Sometimes old projects have issues with RWA formation or builder not handing over properly.
Bhai, ye lottery parking ka chakkar toh sab jagah ho gaya hai. Hum bhi ek project dekh rahe the Noida Extension mein, same issue. After paying so much, you expect a dedicated spot, right? It's not just about convenience, it's peace of mind, especially for older folks or when you have guests. Totally understand your frustration.
See, Parsvnath Platinum ka possession toh 2009 ka hai. Tab shayad parking ke rules itne strict nahi the ya demand kam thi. Ab gaadiyan itni ho gayi hain ki builders bhi manage nahi kar paate. Lottery is their way out. But for residents, it's a headache.
Exactly! Mere parents Alpha II mein dekh rahe hain, wahan bhi yahi haal hai. Builder bolte hain 'first come, first serve'.
