Budget finalised, loan pre-approved – now stuck on this builder payment trap. I'm looking at a 3BHK in Sector 137, probably ACE or Mahagun, and the construction-linked plan felt okay initially. But now, after paying 20%, they're asking for the next 20% saying 'structure complete' when it barely looks halfway. My parents keep saying these plans are designed to drain you, and honestly, I'm starting to believe it. This is my first property purchase, and I had no idea it would be this complicated. It feels like they just want to push for money without actual progress on site. Is this normal in Noida Extension? What should I do if the construction isn't matching their payment milestones? Ab samajh nahi aa raha.

Sector 137 is tricky. I heard similar stories from friends who booked near Alpha I Greater Noida. Builders promise the moon, but construction speed is always an issue. Make sure your agreement clearly states penalty clauses, if any, otherwise you're stuck.
Totally relate! My parents say the same about CLPs. It's a trap, yaar. Feels like they just want to squeeze money out of us.
