posted on 5 MayNoida maintenance charges: Value for money or just high bills?
Maintenance charges in Noida are a total mystery to me right now. I'm so fed up of renting, yaar, landlord ne rent badha diya phir se. Finally taking the plunge for my own home, looking at places like Jaypee The Imperial Court. EMI vs rent math ab sahi lag raha hai. But I hear maintenance is a huge hidden cost. Jo amenities dikhate hain, clubhouse, pool, woh sab use bhi hote hain ya bas showpiece? Aur unki maintenance ka bill kitna aata hai? Matlab, is it value for money ya bas high charges for nothing? Koi experience share karo please.

Jaypee The Imperial Court ka track record dekh lo bhai. Possession date was 2014-09-17, so it's an old project. Jaypee ka reputation for maintenance and even initial delays in other projects has been quite mixed. While Imperial Court is completed, be very careful with their maintenance society. Sometimes builders form their own maintenance bodies and charge exorbitantly without much transparency. Make sure to check their RERA number UPRERAPRJ3906 and read reviews specific to their maintenance services, not just construction.
Sahi keh rahe ho. My friend had a terrible experience with a
I can share my experience. I bought a 3BHK in Alpha I Greater Noida a couple of years back. My maintenance bill averages around ₹6000-₹7000 per month for a 1500 sq ft apartment. This includes common area electricity, security, gardening, lift maintenance, and basic cleaning. Power backup aur water supply ka alag se bill aata hai. It definitely adds up, but the security and upkeep are generally good.
U6, as U5 mentioned, power backup and water supply usually have separate charges based on consumption. The ₹6000-₹7000 is typically for the common amenities like security, housekeeping, gym, pool, and common electricity. Some societies have fixed power backup charges, others bill per unit.
₹7000? Wow! Is that including full power backup charges or just the common area stuff?

Haan, bilkul! Main bhi Noida mein dekh raha hoon aur ye maintenance charges kaafi confuse kar rahe hain. Kisi aur completed project mein kitne lagte hain typically?
Jaypee The Imperial Court? Hmm, amenities toh dikhane ke liye bahut hoti hain. But real mein kitna use hota hai, aur uske liye kitna charge karte hain, that's the big question. Often, they charge premium for things you barely use.
Totally feel you! Same boat here. Maintenance charges ka sunke hi darr lagta hai. It’s like a second EMI sometimes, no?
