My rent in Sector 137 jumped again last year. Is this 30-40% increase justified across Noida? The EMI vs rent math feels different now. Landlords, what's your take on yields?

I understand landlords need their returns and property maintenance costs have gone up. But 30-40% feels excessive. Are property yields really justifying this, especially for older properties? Or are they just cashing in on the WFH crowd returning to offices? Koi landlord bhai hai yahan jo explain kar sake, what's a fair increase?
Totally unfair! Builders are already delaying possession in places like Ajayabpur, aur ab yeh rent hike. Double whammy for us middle-class people.
Last year, I was paying 18k for a 2BHK in Sector 137, now it's 25k. That's a 38% jump! My landlord says maintenance costs are up, property taxes are up, and demand is through the roof because of new companies coming to Noida. But for us, first-time buyers, it's making saving for a down payment impossible. EMI option is looking more attractive everyday but interest rates are also high. Kya karein, samajh nahi aa raha?
30-40% is just crazy! I'm looking for a 2BHK near Alpha I Greater Noida for rent and the brokers are quoting insane prices, almost 25k for a decent place. Is this just greed or genuinely high demand? Kya lagta hai, EMI le lena chahiye ab, ya wait karna chahiye?
Haan bhai, same here! My rent in Sector 78 also shot up by almost 35%. Lagta hai poore Noida ka yahi haal hai. Pehle EMI vs Rent ka calculation accha lagta tha, ab toh samajh hi nahi aa raha kya karein.
