Noida stamp duty is a massive cost shock
Okay I'll be honest — I completely underestimated how confusing this process is. Fed up of renting, especially after landlord raised rent again, finally decided to take the plunge and buy property in Noida. My EMI vs rent math ab theek lag raha hai. I'm looking at a 2BHK in Sector 93A, Jupiter Infrastructure ka project. Base price around ₹78L hai, but jab all-in cost calculation pe aaye, my head started spinning. The biggest shocker for me is stamp duty and registration charges. Kitna percentage lagta hai exactly for a first-time buyer? Is there any way to reduce this, ya yeh fixed hota hai? Also, people talk about hidden charges at possession. Apart from stamp duty, what else should I factor in? Maintenance advance, society formation charges... kya kya aur aata hai? Don't want any last-minute surprises. Any advice on managing these costs, especially around possession time?
