Noida's 'luxury' projects: The post-possession reality
Spent the whole Sunday checking out options in Sector 150. I'm currently in a 2BHK in Sector 78 and thinking of upgrading to a 3BHK, budget around ₹1.5 Cr. Okay, I'll say what no one says: everyone glorifies Godrej and ATS for 'quality' but what you see in the sample flat is NOT what you get. I've seen projects from Gaursons and ACE where the finishing after possession is just pathetic, plaster cracks, seepage issues common. Builders promise these fancy amenities – clubhouses, pools – but after 2-3 years, sab maintenance ka issue ban jaata hai. Matlab, is the price jump really worth it for that quality? Yeh Jewar Airport hype ka kya fayda agar basic construction hi weak hai? M3M ka bhi suna hai, initially acha lagta hai but later issues aate hain. Change my mind.

Totally resonate with this, U1! My brother booked a 'luxury' 3BHK in Alpha I Greater Noida two years back, thinking he was getting premium quality. Sample flat was amazing, of course. But post-possession, the paint started peeling within months, and the bathroom fittings were sub-standard. He's spent so much on repairs already. It's like builders just focus on the facade for sales, and actual construction quality takes a backseat. Is there any way to actually verify the structural integrity before buying, or are we just relying on blind faith?
