NRI cousin's Bangalore buying dilemma, need advice
Just moved into my Brigade Society flat in Whitefield last month. Honestly, the process was way more complex than I thought, even being here. My cousin, who's in the US, wants to buy a 3BHK near Sarjapur Road for around ₹1.8 Cr. He's looking at Prestige or Godrej. He can't visit before buying, which seems like a big risk. I'm telling him OC, PLC, and all these hidden charges *really* pop up last minute. Is it safe for an NRI to buy property in Bangalore without physically seeing it and handling all the paperwork? Like, POA se sab cover ho jaata hai kya? Or is it better to just wait and send someone reliable? Especially with the Namma Metro Phase 3 work going on, it feels like things change fast. What's your experience, yaar? Any specific builder ya area jahan NRI investment thoda smooth hota hai?
