NRI investment in Gurugram: things nobody tells you

Honestly, after getting possession in Sector 65 last month, I'm already thinking ahead. An NRI friend wants to invest in Gurugram, maybe Dwarka Expressway, but can't visit. Is buying property sight unseen, even from builders like M3M or Emaar, advisable? What are the real risks for NRIs investing remotely?

Bhai, sight unseen? Gurugram mein? That's a recipe for disaster, even with big builders. Dwarka Expressway is still developing, bahut changes hote hain.

Totally agree. Mera ek friend ka paisa fas gaya aise hi. Documentation aur land title verification mein itna fraud hota hai, remote se karna toh impossible lagta hai. Unless you have a very reliable family member yahan.
