Is NRI investment in New Chandigarh really as promising as agents claim? I just moved into my Manohar Singh and Company flat here a couple of months back and abhi sab set ho gaya hai. But I'm curious about the ground reality. Yaar, is it worth it for NRIs to invest without seeing the property? Matlab, high appreciation potential hai kya yahan, especially with the PR7 Airport Road expansion? Aur rental yields kaise hain? Thinking about future resale, NRI buyers ka impact kitna hota hai?

I've been tracking New Chandigarh for almost a year now, especially the areas around the PR7 Airport Road. While the infrastructure push is real, especially with the new airport connectivity, the appreciation is definitely not uniform. Builders like Manohar Singh & Co. have good projects, but a lot of smaller players are also there, and their quality is questionable. For NRIs, the main draw is often the 'safe bet' perception and the hope of quick returns
Totally agree U1! My cousin is an NRI and he got burned badly in another city. Without seeing, it's a huge gamble.
Yaar, that's exactly what I've been wondering! Agents toh hamesha high picture dikhate hain. But for NRIs to invest blindly, seems risky. I'm also looking in New Chandigarh, near Mullanpur Garibdass, and the prices seem to be climbing but actual development kitna hai, that's the real question. Is it sustainable?
