NRI investment without visiting feels like a huge gamble. My cousin wants a 2BHK in Whitefield from Prestige, but can't come. Is it safe to invest in Bangalore property remotely? What are the actual risks?

Bhai, without visiting, this is a recipe for disaster. Especially for a first-time buyer. Prestige is a big name, no doubt, but even big builders have projects with issues. What if the actual flat isn't what was shown in the virtual tour? What about the hidden charges, quality of construction, or even the view? My friend almost got stuck with a flat facing a sewage treatment plant in Aavalahalli because he trusted virtual tours too much. Always better to have someone physically check.
That's a scary thought about the sewage plant! So
