2 months in my new DDA Meera Apartment, still no OC. Builder pushed possession without it. Is this normal in Delhi? How effective is RERA for getting OC delays resolved here?

OC ke bina possession lena hi galat hai. Builder ne bola nahi tha kya OC kab tak milega? RERA mein complaint daali hai kya OP ne? Delhi mein RERA ka process thoda slow hai, I've heard, but it's still the best legal recourse.
U3, builder toh bolte rehte hain 'next month, next month' till you take possession, then they vanish. Mera ek relative Ansal Villas mein property dekh raha tha, same story. RERA Delhi ka portal par check kiya tha, Jay Hind Developer ke against already 7-8 complaints hain OC delays ke liye. But resolution mein time lagta hai, mostly mediation tak hi baat pahunchti hai, court tak kam hi jaata hai. So, slow toh hai, but it does put pressure.
DDA Meera Apartment mein bhi OC issue? Shocker! Jay Hind Developer ka toh naam suna hai but yeh problem expected nahi thi. So frustrating for first-time buyers.
Bhai, this is exactly what I'm worried about! I'm looking at properties in Anand Vihar and builders there also seem to be pushing possession without OC. Is this a common tactic now? DDA flats mein bhi yeh haal hai toh private builders ka kya hi kehna. It's so stressful to think about paying EMIs for a home that technically isn't fully compliant.
U6, to your question about RERA, my uncle filed one for his Dwarka property regarding OC, and it took ages. Bahut paperwork aur follow-up lagta hai, so be prepared for a long haul.
Haan U1, you're absolutely right, OC ke bina possession ek common tactic ban gaya hai builders ka, especially in areas like Alaknanda. Mera ek dost Jay Hind Developer se hi Alaknanda mein flat liya tha, usko bhi OC ke liye 6 mahine wait karna pada tha after possession. RERA complaint file karni chahiye kya, is it even effective for these OC delays?
