Old City mein property ke legal issues kaafi stressful hain, ya sirf mujhe lag raha hai? I'm based in Dubai, can't easily verify land titles ya builder track record. Heard stories about disputed properties and OC issues. Is it really that bad, making resale difficult? Kya koi reliable way hai due diligence ka, especially for an NRI?

Totally agree! Legal complications bahut headache dete hain. First-time buyer ke liye toh nightmare hai.
Haan, nightmare toh hai. Main Begumpet mein ek flat dekh raha tha, sab theek laga. Jab lawyer se due diligence karaya toh pata chala builder ne plot ka FSI rules change hone se pehle sanction liya tha, aur ab OC milne mein problem aa rahi hai.
Nahin bhai, aap akele nahin ho. Old City kya, even surrounding areas like Alwal mein bhi similar issues sunne ko milte hain. Builder promises kuch aur karte hain, but on ground reality different hoti hai. Mera ek friend phasa hua hai OC ke chakkar mein.

Exactly! Aur builder toh bas sales pitch dete hain, baad mein koi sunta hi nahin. Frustration max!
Bhai, it's not just you. Old City properties are notorious for this. Even in areas like Attapur, jahan development ho raha hai, wahan bhi sometimes ancestral property disputes ya encroachment issues nikal aate hain. Resale definitely difficult ho jaati hai agar papers clear na hon, because banks also hesitate to finance such properties.
