Moved into my flat in Omaxe Vamana Riseonic last month, but OC abhi tak nahi mila hai. Builder bol raha bas aane wala hai, but I'm worried. Legally, can they give possession without OC? Mera lawyer bol raha it's a big risk. Should I file a RERA complaint now, or wait? Is RERA actually effective for these kind of delays in Chandigarh? Feels like sab paperwork mein hi reh jaata hai.

Mere saath bhi similar hua tha sector 127 mein ek project mein. Builder ne OC ke bina possession de diya, aur baad mein society formation mein issue aaya. We filed a RERA complaint collectively. It took about 6-8 months, but RERA did intervene and forced the builder to expedite the OC process and pay some compensation for the delay. The key is proper documentation and persistence. Don't let them intimidate you.

Maine ek case dekha hai Mullanpur Garibdass mein, jahan builder ne OC delay kiya tha 2 saal. RERA ne order toh diya tha penalty ka, but execution mein time laga. Aapka builder ne kya reason diya hai delay ka? Koi specific date di hai?

Totally agree! Omaxe ka track record OC delays mein bahut notorious hai. Meri family ne bhi New Chandigarh mein inke project mein issue face kiya tha.
