Our 3BHK dream turning into a legal nightmare in New Chandigarh
Okay I'll be honest — I thought buying from Reputed Builder for Palm Grande Exclusive Villas would be straightforward, but it's been a nightmare. We booked a 3BHK in New Chandigarh, thinking we'd be settled for the kids' school admissions this year. Now possession is delayed by almost a year, and they're blaming pending Occupancy Certificate. My wife's main priority is a safe, ready home, but we can't even move in. Can we legally take possession without the OC? And what are our actual rights under RERA for this delay? The builder-buyer agreement feels so one-sided, I feel stuck. We've put in nearly ₹1.5 Cr, and the EMIs are crushing us while we still rent. Has anyone else faced this with Reputed Builder or other projects in Mohali or Zirakpur? What did you do to get things moving or get compensation?

Bhai, your situation sounds exactly like what so many of us are going through. ₹1.5 Cr is a huge amount to have stuck, especially with EMIs and rent both running. This Reputed Builder ka track record toh waise bhi kuch khaas nahi suna maine. It's so frustrating when they promise the moon and deliver nothing.
Sahi kaha! Reputed Builder, but 'reputation' for what? Inka koi aur project bhi time pe complete hua hai kya?
