Kids have moved out, so we're downsizing from our big house. Just got possession of our new 3BHK in Sector 65 and wanted to share a few things. We were surprised by how much extra piled up at the very end for EDC/IDC, registry, and maintenance deposits. Really makes you double-check the fine print, doesn't it? Also, seeing a few hairline cracks already – wondering if that's normal for new builds like DLF or Emaar projects. Hope this helps someone budget better for those last-minute costs!

Hairline cracks in DLF/Emaar projects? Are you sure it's one of their main projects ya koi smaller builder ka hai jo unke naam pe bech raha hai? Thoda detailing do please.
Totally relate! Humne bhi socha tha ki final amount bas agreement wala hoga, but yeh hidden costs toh budget hila dete hain. Especially maintenance deposit, itna heavy hota hai. Makes me so nervous about my own upcoming possession.
