Palm Grande parking is a daily battle
Palm Grande Exclusive Villas – just moved in last month, and wow, things are different than the site visit. The green areas looked so vast in the brochure, but honestly, they feel a bit cramped with all the towers. It's not exactly the open space I pictured, you know? And parking, yaar, that's a whole other story. We were promised dedicated spots for residents but it's turning into a bit of a lottery system for guests, not sure if that's normal. Is this how it usually is in Chandigarh societies? Plus, noticed a few minor snags already, like a leaky tap in the master bath and a couple of loose floor tiles. Nothing major yet, but makes me wonder about long-term construction quality. Has anyone else faced these kinds of issues here? Am I just overthinking it, or is this common?

Yaar, this is the exact story with most new projects near Mullanpur Garibdass. My friend bought in a 'luxury' villa project there, and the initial promises of open spaces and amenities never materialized. They had major issues with water seepage within a year. Builders just want to sell, quality is secondary. Regarding the builder, I heard their previous project also had RERA delays and quality complaints, so yes, they have a reputation for cutting corners. Always check RERA filings and past projects.
Sahi kaha aapne! My cousin had similar issues in a project in Manimajra. The builder initially showed a beautiful model, but the final product was very different. Even the common areas were poorly maintained
RERA filings se kya pata chalta hai? Builders toh sab manage kar lete hain.
Oh no, this sounds worrying. I'm also looking at properties in New Chandigarh, and Palm Grande was on my list. Is this builder known for such issues? Construction quality is my biggest concern, especially for a first home.
Totally relate to this! We almost bought in Palm Grande too, and the green spaces did look better in the renders. Parking is always a headache in new societies. Builder promises one thing, reality is another. Ab toh dar lag raha hai.
