Pataudi Road — bahut time se dekh raha hun as a potential place to finally buy. Yaar, I'm so fed up of renting in Gurgaon, landlord ne rent fir badha diya. Thinking of taking the plunge for a 2BHK. My budget is around ₹1.2 Cr, and this area fits. But I'm really worried about daily life here. Is it actually livable for a family? Specifically, traffic ka kya scene hai? Subah office commute Cyber City tak kitna time lagta hai? Aur water supply ka kya haal hai? Kahin hamesha tanker pe depend toh nahi rehna padega? Heard mixed reviews about civic amenities. Should I really consider moving here or just stick to renting in main Gurgaon? Community ka kya vibe hai, neighbours kaise hain? Need some real resident experiences.

Bhai, don't be so negative! Pataudi Road has its pros. The prices are still relatively affordable compared to, say, Airport Road side. And new infrastructure projects are coming up. If you're looking for a 2BHK in 1.2 Cr, this is one of the few places where you get decent space. Just need to pick the right society. What's your top priority - connectivity or space?
Yes, prices are 'affordable' but check the per sqft rate. Sometimes, builders quote a lower total price but the carpet area is tiny. Plus, the appreciation isn't as rapid as established sectors. My friend bought a 2BHK there for 90L two years back, and it's barely appreciated beyond 1.05 Cr. Don't just look at the absolute price, factor in the growth.
My priority is definitely space, but not at the cost of daily commute. If it takes 2 hours daily to reach office, then what's the point of a big home? I think connectivity is still key, even if it means a smaller 2BHK in a slightly better area.
Airport Road toh out of budget hai for us first-time buyers. Pataudi Road hi option hai, agree with you.
Yaar, Pataudi Road... I've heard too many stories. Traffic to Cyber City is a nightmare, especially during peak hours. My cousin lives near Basai and even from there, it takes him ages. Water supply is a major concern; many societies are still dependent on tankers, which adds to monthly costs. For 1.2 Cr, you might find something better closer to the main city, even if it's slightly smaller. Are you sure about this area for family living?
I used to live near Baharampur Naya, and the commute to Cyber City was manageable if you leave early. Pataudi Road is further, but with the new flyovers, it's improving. Family living is okay, but yes, schools and hospitals are still a bit far, which is a concern for small kids.
Basai se toh connectivity achhi ho gayi hai ab. Pataudi Road se time lagta hai, but not always 1.5 hours. Depends on exact location of course.
