Paying premium for infra promises? My Chandigarh property dilemma
Been fed up of renting for years now, finally looking to buy in Chandigarh. Everyone glorifies PR-7 Airport Road connectivity and Mohali IT City for driving property prices, especially in Zirakpur and Rasulpur. But honestly, isn't much of this just hype? Prices for a 2BHK are already hitting ₹70L in some Omaxe projects. Are we just buying into future promises that might see typical project delays? I mean, the New Chandigarh Master Plan has been discussed for ages. Okay, I'll say what no one says: are these infrastructure projects actually going to finish on time, or are we paying premium for something still years away? It feels like brokers are pushing this hard. Should I be worried about actual delivery timelines instead of just the potential appreciation? Change my mind. Disagree? Tell me why.

Bhai, exactly yahi feeling hai meri bhi! Lagta hai sab bas future ki hawa mein jee rahe hain. ₹70L for a 2BHK in Zirakpur, that too Omaxe jaisa builder jinka track record mixed hai? Itna toh Gurgaon mein bhi nahi milta kuch areas mein. I'm really worried about my hard-earned money getting stuck.
Totally agree! Future promises pe hum itna paisa kyun lagayein? It's a huge risk for first-
