Post-possession reality: Quality and maintenance shocks
Just moved into my DLF flat in Vasant Kunj last month, and honestly, kuch baatein nobody told me pehle. I’m already seeing minor plaster cracks and a bit of seepage near the balcony, it's barely two months since possession! Builder ko call karo toh they take ages to respond, customer support is almost non-existent post-handover. It makes me seriously wonder about the construction quality reality check. Also, the post-possession maintenance charges are quite high, not sure if that's standard ya kuch extra hi le rahe hain. My EMI is already high, aur yeh sab upar se. For those who bought from Godrej Properties, Tata Housing, Birla Estate, Raheja, ya Omaxe in Delhi, what's your experience been like with quality issues and maintenance? Did you face similar things so early on? Any tips to handle these post-handover snags? Hope this helps someone looking to buy.

Oh man, this is exactly what scares me! I'm looking at properties in Dwarka and Ghaziabad, and builder reputation is everything. DLF se bhi yeh expect nahi kiya tha. My friend bought in a smaller project and faces similar issues. Builders just wash their hands off after possession, it seems. What do we even do?
Sahi kaha, U1. Builder reputation is key but even big names cut corners. Best to get a proper inspection done before final handover, even if it costs extra
