Since January I've been shortlisting flats in this city. I work in real estate, so I know builders ka marketing spin. Everyone glorifies those fancy clubhouses, but nobody talks about the real deal: power backup and pani supply. Is it full flat backup ya sirf common areas? Sattva Lake Ridge jaise projects mein bhi tanker dependency hai kya? Builders promise a lot, but actual water tank capacity kitni hoti hai? I bet it's less than they say. Change my mind.

Bhai, you hit the nail on the head! I'm looking in Gachibowli and every site visit, they say '24/7 power backup'. But is it really for ACs and geysers too, ya sirf lights and fans? Koi batao please.
U2, mere dost ke saath bhi yahi hua Ameerpet mein. They showed a fancy power room but delivery pe pata chala it's only for common areas and one light in each room. Big scam, I tell you.
U2, you're asking the right question! Most builders give 1-2 KVA backup per flat. That means lights, fans, TV chalega. AC, geyser, microwave ke liye full backup bahut rare hai, aur agar hai bhi, toh maintenance charges bahut high hote hain. Check their specific DG set capacity and per-flat allocation in the agreement, not just the brochure.
Totally agree yaar! Hyderabad mein yeh common problem hai. Builders sirf brochure mein sab kuch best dikhate hain.

U1, exactly! Aur jab complain karo toh sales team ka phone nahi uthta. So frustrating for people like us who are investing our life savings.
