Power backup claims are almost always a lie
Power backup claims are almost always a lie, especially in Chandigarh. I'm currently in a 2BHK in Sector 44 and we only get common area backup, which is a pain. Thinking of upgrading to a 3BHK or villa, maybe Ambika Florence Park, but I'm really skeptical about what they promise vs. what's delivered for full flat power. My friend just moved into a new society and they're always dependent on tankers for water, even with huge tanks promised. How do you guys verify the actual power backup capacity and water supply reliability during site visits? Is there a specific question to ask or something to check in the fine print? Also, what about elevator maintenance – is it generally smooth or do you face frequent breakdowns and slow service? Just trying to avoid future headaches, already have a home loan so want the premium to be justified. Hope this helps someone else looking too.

Totally agree, bhai! Yeh power backup aur water supply ka drama toh har dusre project mein hai. My cousin in New Chandigarh faced the same issue. Builder ne bade-bade promises kiye the, but end mein inverter pe hi chal raha hai sab. How do you even trust them?
Exactly! Trust toh bilkul nahi raha. My friend in Saini Majra struggles with daily water cuts, builder just says 'municipal supply issues'.
