Pre-launch deals in Chandigarh: real discount or just hype?
Not proud of this but I almost got duped by a pre-launch scheme. Currently in a 2BHK in Sector 44, thinking of upgrading to a 3BHK or maybe a villa in New Chandigarh. Already have a home loan, so har ek paisa counts for the next one. Was looking at Altus Space Builders in Mullanpur Garibdass. They pushed pre-launch hard, calling it an 'early bird discount'. But jab actual prices release hue, the difference wasn't that significant. Sometimes the on-paper price felt similar to what I heard later. I'm trying to figure out if builders actually give spot discounts later, ya fir yeh 'no-price-drop' policy sirf bolne ki baat hai? Matlab, agar main wait karoon, will I get a better deal on ready inventory? Has anyone here had a good experience with pre-launch pricing, ya it's mostly a marketing gimmick? For investors like me, is it smarter to chase spot discounts on inventory, ya try to book early?

Bhai, totally relate to this. Altus Space Builders mein toh same scene hai. Mullanpur Garibdass mein ek project tha, pre-launch mein price kuch aur tha, jab official launch hua toh itna difference nahi laga. Felt like I wasted my time trying to get in early. Ab lagta hai ready inventory pe hi negotiation karna chahiye.
