Okay, I'll say what no one says: RERA is mostly bark, no bite for actual buyer protection. Hum Prestige City mein 3BHK dekh rahe hain Whitefield mein, kids ke school ke liye. But builder-buyer agreement mein itne one-sided clauses hain, it's crazy. Agar builder delay kare toh penalty minimal, but hum cancel karein toh poora amount forfeit? Matlab, RERA registration dekhna bas formality hai? Kya actual recourse hai jab builder default karta hai? Change my mind.

Totally agree with you! RERA is a joke when it comes to actual protection. Same darr mujhe bhi hai, looking at a project near Attibele / Hosur Road outskirts. Builder agreement dekh ke hi BP high ho jaata hai.
