posted on 2 MayPrestige City agreement: RERA protection or just hope?
Visited Prestige City on Sarjapur Road last weekend. Sales team was pushing hard for booking. I work in real estate, so I know the drill, but their draft builder-buyer agreement gave me serious red flags. So many clauses only favour the builder – penalty for buyer delay, vague possession timelines, and barely any RERA compensation if *they* delay. Honestly, it feels like RERA is just on paper sometimes. Keya Homes ke ek project mein bhi similar issues sune the. My biggest worry is if they delay possession, my EMI and rent dono will kill me. Anyone actually fought a builder successfully under RERA for unfair clauses ya delays? What was your experience? Is it even worth the hassle, ya just sign and hope for the best?
