Prestige City move-in: My RERA and legal agreement confusion
Okay I'll be honest — I completely underestimated how confusing legal due diligence is for property in Bangalore. Just got possession of my 2BHK at Prestige City, Sarjapur Road, last month. Now I'm wondering agar maine builder-buyer agreement mein kuch red clauses miss toh nahi kar diye? The sales team was so smooth, they made everything seem standard. I tried checking the Prestige Group's RERA registration properly, but honestly, it was hard to spot any potential red flags beyond the basic status. What all should one actually look for? Is just a 'Registered' status enough ya there's more to it? Also, if god forbid koi issue aata hai, RERA complaints kitni effective hoti hain on ground? Log bolte hain paper pe sab accha hai, but real experience kya hai? Koi apna experience share karega please, especially if you've had to deal with RERA for any issues. Just want to make sure I'm not stuck with something later. Thanks!

Oh god, I felt the exact same way when I was looking at properties, especially in Bangalore. The builders make it sound so simple, but the paperwork is a nightmare. Prestige is a big name, established 1986, so generally people trust them, but even then, due diligence is key. Don't worry, you're not alone in feeling this confusion.
Sahi kaha! Brand name pe bharosa karna mushkil ho gaya hai. My dad always says read every single line, but who has the time
