posted on 5 MayPrestige City residents, what's the real daily vibe?
Been paying rent for 6 years, fed up of my landlord increasing it again. Finally looking to buy, and Prestige City keeps coming up. Everyone glorifies the amenities and the 'Prestige' tag, but nobody talks about the actual daily grind. Is it genuinely good to live in, or just good on paper? Are the noise levels and air quality bearable? Honestly, I'm more worried about the society vibe – does it feel like a friendly community or just a collection of isolated apartments? Okay, I'll say what no one says: is it just a concrete jungle? Change my mind.

Okay, let's be fair. The location has potential, and the brand does deliver on some aspects. But the OP's point about the 'vibe' is so important. Does it feel like a home, or just a high-rise? For a project of 3000 units, managing community events and common spaces must be a nightmare. Anyone living in a similar large complex, how do you handle it? I'm looking at a unit facing the main road, will the noise be too much?
Noise near the main road will definitely be an issue, especially with so much construction still ongoing. Air quality is also a concern in that belt. I would suggest looking at units facing inside or away from heavy traffic. My friend in Adigara Kallahalli faces similar issues.
The community vibe depends a lot on the residents, honestly. I visited a friend's place there; the amenities are good, but during weekdays it felt a bit empty. Weekends have more activity. It's a mix. If you're looking for a close-knit, old-school society feel, maybe look at smaller projects in areas like Agrahara Layout. This is more of a modern, self-contained township.
Honestly, the ₹45 L – ₹1.6 Cr range is a bit steep for a first-time buyer like me, especially with the current interest rates in Bengaluru. I'm seeing prices soften a bit in other areas like Aavalahalli. Is Prestige City really worth stretching the budget this much, or is it just the brand name?
True, but what about hidden costs? IDC, PLC, floor rise... the initial price range seems attractive but then it shoots up. Has anyone gotten a clear breakdown of all charges?
Prestige is a premium brand, you pay for the quality and amenities. It's an investment, not just a home.
I've been tracking this project for a while. The RERA number is PR/200821/004260 and possession is slated for 2024-12-01. But builders often delay, especially with such a huge project of 3000 units. Has anyone heard any ground-level updates on the construction progress? I'm scared of getting stuck in a never-ending wait.
Exactly! My cousin booked in a similar project near Akshayanagar, they promised 2023, abhi 2025 bol rahe hain. Prestige City ke case mein, are they on track for Dec 2024? That's a big worry for anyone planning finances.
Haan bhai, possession dates toh builders ka favorite game hai. Any news on when they'll actually start handing over?
Amenities toh mast lagte hain, especially the swimming pool. But maintenance charges kitne honge? That's my biggest concern after paying rent for so long.
Totally relate, yaar! That rent hike struggle is real. Prestige City looks fancy, but daily life kaisa hai wahan? Traffic, noise, community – that's what I want to know. Is it really just a concrete jungle?
