Been looking for a year now and it's getting tough. I work in real estate, so I see all the marketing spin, but buying for myself is totally different. Visiting Prestige City, the brochures promise so much, but I'm genuinely worried about the daily living realities. Specifically, water supply – is it reliable, or are we talking constant tanker dependency and extra charges? And power backup – is it full flat backup for the apartment or just common areas? Also, the elevators. Are they good quality, and what's the maintenance response like? I've seen projects where lifts are always breaking down. Is anyone living there or visited recently with real, off-the-record insights on these points?

Totally agree with the water point!
Yaar, same pinch! I visited Prestige City too, and my biggest worry was exactly this water situation. For a project in Aavalahalli with that price range (₹45 L – ₹1.6 Cr), you'd expect proper BWSSB connection, not just borewell or tankers. Builder sales log always says 'sufficient water', but what does that even mean for daily use? It's a huge commitment to buy a home and then worry about basic utilities.
