Project amenities are mostly a waste of money, change my mind.
Project amenities are just marketing gimmicks, honestly. CGHS Gauri Ganesh Apartment mein ₹1.66 Cr se ₹2.85 Cr tak de rahe hain, but how many amenities wahan pe actually useful hain daily life mein? Swimming pool kitne log use karte hain regularly? Gym ka bhi kya scene hai? I'm looking for my first home, not a resort. My parents keep saying location matters more than fancy extras. Is it genuinely good to live in daily, ya sirf brochure mein achha lagta hai? Disagree? Tell me why.

Totally agree with the original post! As a first-time buyer, my budget is already stretched. Why pay for a fancy gym or swimming pool that I'll probably use once a month, if ever? Plus, these amenities add so much to the monthly maintenance. Kya faayda?
Bhai, my cousin bought a flat in Alaknanda a few years back, thinking the club house and pool would be great. Abhi tak usne pool mein ek doobki nahi lagayi, aur club house sirf Diwali parties ke liye khulta hai. But the maintenance bill is always sky-high because of these 'amenities'. It's a huge burden for something you barely use. Location aur connectivity pe focus karna chahiye, na ki fancy brochures pe.
Exactly! Maintenance charges hi jaan nikaal dete hain. Hidden costs bahut hote hain.
