Since March, living near Pimpri. Honestly, Pune ke brokers are just commission agents. They push their agenda, not investor interests. Direct builder ya secondary market owner se deal karo. Always a better deal. Change my mind.

Hmm, I don't know. Some brokers are genuinely helpful, especially if you're new to the city. They help with legalities and paperwork. Not all of them are just 'gatekeepers'. Maybe you just had a bad experience?
Generally, for resale, it's 1-2% of the property value from both buyer and seller, so effectively 2-4% total. Builders sometimes pay them a higher cut too. Negotiable? Rarely for established brokers, but if you find an independent one, maybe. I had to pay 2% when
Helpful for sure, but at what cost? What's the standard commission structure they usually charge in Pune for resale properties? Is it negotiable?
Totally agree yaar! Pimpri ho ya Kothrud, sab jagah same kahani hai. I tried looking in Akurdi for a 2BHK, and the broker was just pushing one specific project, saying it's the 'best investment'. Later found out he had a tie-up. It's so frustrating for first-time buyers like us.
Exactly! They just want their cut, no real advice. I felt like I was being sold a car, not a home.
