Pune floor-rise premium feels like a rip-off

Been renting in Pune for ages, fed up of landlord increasing rent every year. Finally taking the plunge, looking at a 2BHK in Pimpri, Marvel Realtors ka project. Base price ₹78L hai, but they're adding like ₹50/sqft for floor-rise premium on higher floors. Matlab, fourth floor pe toh alag hi cost jaa raha hai. Is this floor-rise premium worth it, ya just another way builders make money? Aur ispe negotiation possible hai kya?

Totally a rip-off! Builders just find new ways to squeeze money out of us. 'Floor-rise premium' is just a fancy name for a price hike. Base price is already so high, and then these hidden charges. It's frustrating for first-time buyers.

Exactly! And then maintenance, parking, society charges... it never ends. First-time buyers like us are just targets. They know we're desperate to own a home.
