Rajkot flat hunt: Legal worries before retirement
My kids have moved out, so for months now we've been looking for a smaller flat in Rajkot. Don't need such a big place anymore, just something manageable near Kalawad Road or 150 Feet Ring Road. We're considering projects by Ansal API, maybe even Ansal Aastha Mig Zone, or some from Balaji Group. The resale of our existing house is almost done, so it's getting serious. Honestly, I'm worried about legal issues. How do you really check a builder's RERA registration? I mean, beyond just seeing a number on their brochure. What are the actual red flags for RERA compliance that most people miss? Also, if a builder delays possession, what are our real options under RERA here in Rajkot? Is it effective or just paperwork? Any advice on how to verify a builder's legal track record thoroughly before putting down big money? Don't want any surprises after retirement.

Post padhke laga meri hi baat ho rahi hai! Legal issues ka darr hai, RERA number dekhna enough nahi lagta. Koi asli tareeka batao verify karne ka.
Haan bilkul, meri ek friend ne Krishna Kunj area mein flat liya tha. Builder ne RERA registration dikhaya, sab sahi laga. Par baad mein pata chala ki land title mein thoda issue tha, almost 2 saal case chala. Builder ne saare documents theek se nahi dikhaye the, sirf marketing material
